CARHIRE.ie is part of Europcar Ireland Group.
VROOM have managed their PPC spend since 2016
in order deliver customers at the right price across multiple markets.

Challenges

When VROOM took over the Ac in Q4 2016, our team noticed that Average Cost Per Click increased significantly from 2015 to 2016 with a 84.24% increase in CPCs, 119.11% in Google AdWords Costs and just a 10.09% increase in direct AdWords Revenue Year on Year.

THE SOLUTION

Through a deep dive of data within the Account, our Head of Paid Search found that Campaigns could be alot more precise and targeted to help garner traffic from more profitable countries to maximise AdWords Return On Ad Spend 9 (ROAS).

The countries identified were positioned further away from Ireland geographically and in turn tend to spend more as they stay longer when booking cars.

So Average Order Values from this cohort were significantly higher when booking cars on their trip to Ireland.
